Job summary

The Gleneagles Hotel is seeking a dedicated festive team to join for a two-week period during the busy holiday season. You will work across shifts with a base rate of £12.84 per hour plus an estimated £2.50 per hour in gratuities and service charges, targeting an hourly rate of £15.34.

Shifts comprise ten work days over the period, each eight hours long, with two rest days weekly and a service excellence training day. Prior experience is not required, and applicants over 18 are preferred.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Aged over 18 for majority of roles.

Responsibilities

• Be available for the festive period as outlined (21 Dec to 4 Jan inclusive).
• Ten days of work, eight hours per shift, with two rest days each week and one day of training.

• We'll need you to be fully available from Monday 21st December, to Monday 4th January inclusive
• You'll have ten days of work, each shift lasting eight hours, with two rest days each week, plus one day of service excellence training

No prior experience is required. For the majority of roles, we’re looking for candidates aged over 18, however there are a few exceptions.

• Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the hotel that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rated basis regardless of your role
• It is estimated that in 2026, our part‑time employees can expect to receive around £2.50 in addition to their hourly rate
