Job summary

China Fleet Country Club in Cornwall is seeking Christmas temporary bar and waiting staff to join our festive hospitality team. You will help deliver memorable experiences, serve drinks and food, and work with colleagues to ensure smooth service during busy party nights.

Previous hospitality experience is helpful, but full training is provided. This part-time seasonal role offers free parking, staff perks, and opportunities for future seasonal or permanent positions within the Club.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with guests.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and throughout the festive season.
• Applicants must be 18 years or over due to the sale and service of alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, and soft drinks.
• Serve food promptly and professionally, ensuring all guest requirements are met.
• Support festive events, Christmas parties, and special functions.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation within bar and restaurant areas.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond professionally to any requests or concerns.
• Adhere to all food safety, health and safety, and licensing regulations.
• Assist with stock replenishment, setting up event spaces, and general operational duties.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
