About The Role

Position: Festival Security

Schedule: Various shift patterns available through the summer

Hourly Rate: £13.10 - £14.68* (*hourly rate inclusive of holiday pay)

Interview and Induction Location: In person at FGH Security's Liverpool Office

Contract Type: Fixed-term ending 30/09/2025

An SIA Door Supervision Licence is essential for this role.

Main Duties

  • Controlling access points and site perimeter patrolling.
  • Ingress control – ticket validation, physical body and bag searches, crowd control, refusal of guests when behaviour/suitability is not line with event house rules/policies.
  • Crowd management – foot traffic direction, escorting and ejecting guests – temporally detaining guests prior to police handover, maintaining order, subdue anti-social behaviour, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to, apprehending guests/staff suspected of committing a crime.
  • Deliver approachable customer service and support.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour/take appropriate action.
  • Egress control.
  • Reporting and recording details of irregularities, incidents, searches and patrols.
  • Protection of assets and prevention of losses.

The ideal candidate will need to...

  • Have a clear passion for Keeping People Safe.
  • Have a good understanding of security risks and threats present at events and festivals.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have excellent customer service skills.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Love training: we have a learning culture and are rigorous in upskilling ourselves and others.
  • Be happy camping and able to provide essential camping kit.

If successful, you will be subjected to security screening in accordance to BS7858:2019.
