Job summary

Yeovil College is creating a new Festival Production curriculum and is seeking a Study Programme Manager to shape programmes in events, performing arts and production arts. You will collaborate with industry partners to ensure the curriculum aligns with local and regional workforce needs and deliver engaging teaching from day one.

You will lead programme development, quality assurance, and employer engagement events, building networks and delivering industry-relevant skills to help students

Qualifications

• Industry experience in Festival Production, Performing Arts and/or Production Arts.
• Up-to-date knowledge of developments across the Creative and Digital Industries.
• Experience in curriculum development, resource creation and delivering engaging teaching and learning.
• Experience of tutoring students, tracking progress, setting targets and supporting high levels of achievement.

Responsibilities

• Develop new study programmes covering event planning, live event production, marketing and promotion, health and safety, dance, music, drama, sound, lighting and set design.
• Build strong industry networks and organise employer engagement events.
• Work with employers, creative organisations and industry partners to translate skills needs into viable curriculum.
• Ensure programmes deliver skills and experience to progress into the creative industries.
