Job summary

TFP Nurture Fertility in Nottingham is seeking an Operating Department Practitioner or Theatre Nurse for a permanent part-time role. You will work in a day case unit, supporting patients undergoing fertility treatment, with housekeeping duties and theatre-based procedures.

The position offers a 07:30-15:30 schedule, 4 days weekly, and 1:4 weekend rotation. The role requires registration (HPCC/NMC), ILS, and experience in anaesthesia or recovery.

Qualifications

• Registration with HPCC or NMC is required.
• ILS certification is essential.
• Experience in anaesthesia, sedation and recovery in a theatre/day case setting is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork are important for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality and follow data protection guidelines.
• Comply with health and safety policies and SOPs.
• Adhere to HFEA Code of Practice and regulatory requirements.
• Support information for inspections and governance.
• Maintain clinical databases and perform data entry for QA and KPIs.
• Communicate professionally with patients and staff.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and infection control.
• Develop knowledge to optimise clinical services and participate in appraisals.
