TFP Nurture Fertility in Nottingham is seeking an Operating Department Practitioner or Theatre Nurse for a permanent, part-time role. You will work in a small multi-disciplinary team supporting patients undergoing fertility treatment, including theatre procedures and recovery.

Requirements include registration with HPCC/NMC, ILS certification and day-case experience. The role entails 30 hours weekly, 07:30-15:30, with a 1:4 weekend rotation and a dual-contribution pension scheme.

Competenze

• HPCC or NMC Registration or equivalent.
• Diploma in Operation Department Practice desirable.
• Experience assisting anaesthesia, sedation and recovery in theatres or hospital.
• Effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues.
• Interest in fertility/gynaecological nursing desirable.
• ILS certification essential.
• Experience in day case setting desirable.

Mansioni

• Maintain confidentiality and observe data governance guidelines.
• Co-operate with Nurture Fertility on health and safety policies.
• Follow HFEA Code of Practice and guidelines.
• Assist in preparation and presentation for regulatory inspections.
• Understand SOPs and contribute to Quality Management System.
• Maintain accurate clinical databases and KPI data.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients and other professionals.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in line with infection control.
