Job summary

TFP Wessex Fertility in Southampton is seeking an enthusiastic Lab & Patient Support Administrator to join our busy clinic. You’ll provide exceptional customer care and administrative support to patients, staff and visitors, acting as a central point of contact in person, by phone and email.

In this role you’ll assist the Lab with gamete and embryo storage administration and help patients with funding queries, appointments, test results and treatment, ensuring efficient communication across

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or patient-facing admin.
• Higher level education or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office and patient/database systems.
• Excellent organisation and time-management.
• Comfortable handling payments with patients.
• Compassionate, resilient and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Commitment to delivering a high-quality patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient administration support to Laboratory and Patient Support teams.
• Manage patient communication regarding gamete and embryo storage, including expiry dates and payments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Handle patient enquiries by telephone, email and portal with clear information.
• Liaise with GPs, consultants, and external providers to support patient journey.
• Coordinate documentation, audits and quality processes.
• Support appointments, patient registration, referrals and invoicing.
• Participate in clinic activities and weekend rota after training.
