Job summary

The Agora Clinic is seeking a caring Healthcare Assistant to join our Fertility & Gynaecology team at our Brighton location. You will support clinical and administrative tasks, assist nurses during clinics and theatre sessions, and help maintain patient records and treatment rooms.

We value excellent patient service, strong organisational skills and teamwork. Experience in phlebotomy is preferred, and training will be provided for fertility-specific duties.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Healthcare Assistant experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Good IT skills and confidence with electronic records systems.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Caring, professional and empathetic approach; able to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing team in clinical and admin tasks across the clinic.
• Assist nurses during patient clinics and procedures; participate in theatre sessions.
• Prepare treatment and consulting rooms; stock and clean areas.
• Answer calls, book appointments, and maintain electronic patient records.
• Record pregnancy outcomes and other treatment information; data entry.
