About this opportunity

We are now recruiting for a Ferry Host to join Westmorland and Furness Council and be a part of Cumbrian history. This is an exciting opportunity for committed and hardworking people to support us in delivering the highest standard of customer serviceon The Ferry, known as “The Mallard”, which runs between Bowness and Hawkshead.

All staff will be provided with training and will be joining the wider Highways Operations team, maintaining the Cumbrian Road network.

This is a role where you will interact with our customers, and we are looking for people who are strong communicators and passionate about delivering a gold standard customer service to our passengers.
