Job summary

Just Temps is recruiting a Fermentation Day Operator for a 12-month contract near Ipswich, Suffolk. The role is full-time at 5.45am–2.15pm with shift rotations planned and a starting rate of £16.25 per hour.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of proven manufacturing experience, preferably in food & beverage.
• Solid understanding of fermentation and yeast manufacturing technology.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fermentation batches and maintain fermentation and culture trains.
• Manage cream loading and provide operational support in upstream activities.
• Interact with tanker drivers and ensure processes are completed on time.
• Maintain detailed records.
