Job summary

Spider Web Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for a Fermentation Day Operator on behalf of our client near Ipswich, Suffolk. The role is temporary for up to 12 months, with potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

The shift starts early mornings and will move to a full rota, and the starting pay rate is £16.25 per hour. You will manage fermentation processes, loading cream, interacting with tanker drivers, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years' proven experience in manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of fermentation and yeast manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fermentation and culture trains to high standards.
• Load cream and support upstream activities.
• Prepare fermentation batches and liaise with tanker drivers and site records.
