Job Description:
The Fencing Installer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of a permanent or temporary secure boundary fence to protect people and property. Typical fencing projects will likely be securing commercial premises, secure areas, or public infrastructure. To do this, you will need to work within a team, to detailed specifications, ensuring correct and safe installation of fencing for the required site. You will likely collaborate with other trades and use a range of tools and machinery to complete the work. The projects will generally be working outdoors in a physical job role to follow industry standards to create correct fences, gates, parapets and noise barriers.

Hybrid Role - This role involves a combination of office-based work and visits to construction sites, including walking around active sites and travelling between locations. Typical Working Week
40 hours p/w with start time between 07:00 & 08:00 inclusive of paid 8 hours at college.
Person Specification
English and Maths at GCSE Grade 3 / D or above, or Functional Skills at Entry 3 or above.

Desired Requirements
The passion and commitment to become fully qualified in Groundworks. It would be advantageous if you have already completed technical certificates in construction or multi-skills, have previous related work experience and a CSCS, but this is certainly not essential.

K10 will enrol you to the Level 2 Fencing Installer course and fund your qualifications through an accredited training provider.
