Job summary

4xtrahands is offering an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to start or further their career in fencing, with work on agricultural and equine fencing projects and associated groundworks. A full UK driving licence is required and company transport is provided from the yard.

Experience is beneficial but a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude is valued; rate of pay is negotiable based on experience, with a workplace pension available and options for full or part-time work.

Qualifications

• Experience with agricultural tractor and implements.
• Experience with track-based machinery.
• Chainsaw certification C/S 30-31.
• First aid qualification.
• Telehandler certification.

Responsibilities

• Install all types of agricultural and equine fencing.
• Groundworks with hired-in plant and company digger.
• Clearance work using tractor-mounted flail toppers and an 8 tonne digger.
• Operate fleet machinery such as tracked post driver and Case tractor with wire unroller.
• Musturs to transport themselves to the yard with company transport from there.

Agricultural & Equine Fencing & Groundworks

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to either start or further their career within the fencing industry. Experience is an advantage but a willingness to learn and a 'can do' attitude is more important. The job role will include installation of all types of agricultural and equine fencing, including stock, deer, horse, rabbit fencing. As well as post and rail fencing, metal estate railing (welding) Clearance work using tractor mounted flail toppers and 8 tonne digger with a tree shear. Groundworks with both hired in plant and company owned digger. We operate a fleet of modern machinery including a tracked post driver (Protech evo C) Case tractor with wire unroller.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to transport themselves to the yard. Company transport will be provided from there.

Rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience. A workplace pension is available. Full time/part time. PAYE or self employed.
