We are looking for a female Waking Night Support Worker to join our service based in Witham on a permanent, part time basis. The waking night shift is 10pm to 7am, 3 shifts per week on a rota basis which will include some weekends. This contract is for 27 hours per week

What does a Waking Night Support Worker do?

Our team support adults with learning disabilities to access the community, maintain their homes, and just live a normal and active life.

As a Waking Night Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.

Night staff will be expected to complete Personal care, regular checks throughout the night and some housework duties.

What we're looking for :

  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

* Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female only applicants. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.

*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
