Job description

We are looking to welcome a compassionate, flexible, and motivated Female Waking Night Support Worker to our Heathside service in St Helens.

Our service in St Helens, Merseyside provides quality care and support to residents with complex needs. We seek individuals who are warm, positive, person-centered, and committed to ensuring that service users with complex needs enjoy the highest quality of life and make progress towards greater independence by accessing the local community in St Helens. No two days will be the same at this service, as our residents love engaging in a range of exciting activities!

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering personal care and support with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
  2. Assisting individuals in leading fulfilling, valued lives and actively participating in the community.
  3. Supporting service users in gaining independence, confidence, and competence in daily living skills, money management, social skills, and more.
  4. Working collaboratively with families and professionals to provide consistent, individual-focused care.
  5. Demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of the service.

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds. No previous care experience is necessary; just a passion for providing person-centered care and working in a friendly environment! Full training is provided by our Creative Support Training Academy, along with the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
