Job description

Creative Support is a national, fast-growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking to add a Female Waking Night Support Worker to our team in Birmingham, West Midlands.

We are looking for a flexible, compassionate, and motivated Female Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Birmingham, near Harborne. This service is a three-bedroom bungalow supporting 2 individuals with a range of support needs including learning disabilities, in the future this will be up to 3 individuals. They all have their own bedroom with shared communal areas. Our service users enjoy completing jigsaws, baking cake, arts and crafts, and going on day trips.

Support Worker Duties:

  1. Provide personal care and support with domestic tasks e.g. cooking, cleaning etc.
  2. Enable them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community, and to develop their abilities as fully as possible.
  3. Enable service users to gain independence, confidence, and competence in areas such as: daily living, managing money, social skills/relationships, and many more!
  4. Collaborate with families of service users and involved professionals to provide a consistent service to meet individual needs.
  5. Be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the service.

Experience is desirable but not essential for this role, as full ongoing training will be provided.
