Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity, and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support, and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

We support 4 wonderful ladies in their own flats in a large, shared building in Stapleford, Nottingham. We are looking for part-time Female Support Workers to join our team who have experience as a Support Worker with Mental Health; you must have an understanding of complex mental health conditions and be able to evidence this in your approach to work. We have day shifts and night shifts available! It is really important that you can connect with the ladies and therefore we are looking for people who share the same interests. Some of the activities we love to do are arts and crafts, swimming, dancing, and day trips whether that be a shopping trip or to the zoo!

“Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a Female colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act.”

Your values:

For this role, you must have experience, whether that be personal or professional, in supporting people with mental health needs. We're really passionate about recruiting individuals who align with our values and we recruit people from all walks of life.

Naturally, it is important too that you share our company values - We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable, which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high-quality, consistent care and support. People's values are important to us, so we look for people with:

  • A strong work ethic
  • Reliability
  • Honesty
