Looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking a Female Support Worker to join our supported living service in Hamworthy, Poole.

Note: For genuine occupational reasons, we are only considering female candidates (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).

This role involves providing support between 7am - 10pm, including a mix of day, evening, and sleep-in shifts. Weekend work is also required.

The person supported is confident, enthusiastic about community activities, deafblind, and has a tenancy for their own home. They communicate using BSL signs, PECs, photos, and gestures. They enjoy a variety of activities such as walks, café visits, cinema, theatre, and holidays.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting with daily tasks like cooking and cleaning
• Personal care and hygiene
