Support Worker Role at Glenelg Support

This role is NOT open to applications from those who will require sponsorship under the points-based system.

At Glenelg Support, we provide exceptional care for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health needs in a supported living environment. We work closely with individuals and their families to develop personalized support plans that make a real difference in people’s lives.

Position Details

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Female Support Workers to join our team in St Helens. We welcome candidates without previous experience, as we provide comprehensive training and guidance to help you succeed. A positive attitude, teamwork, initiative, patience, understanding, and a passion for helping others are essential qualities.

Drivers are required for this service, with a full UK/EU driving licence (provisional or international licences are not accepted) due to the Mobility Car Insurance policy.

Female candidates only, in accordance with occupational requirements under the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities
  1. Supporting individuals to develop independent living skills, including cleaning, cooking, personal care, laundry, budgeting, and meal planning.
  2. Assisting with health and housing appointments and administering medication when needed.
  3. Encouraging engagement with the community and participation in activities to promote independence and well-being.
