Job Description:

Join us as a Learning Disability Support Worker and help build a future where learning disabled people live the best life possible.

We know that life can be complicated for everybody. But some of us are stopped from working towards our dreams. Many learning disabled people aren’t heard about the support they’d like. Some aren’t able to decide what they do for work, how to spend or save their money, or try out new hobbies.

But you can change all that.

Join our growing team in Sevenoaks, and receive all the training you need to become a confident Support Worker.

If our values — Kind, Diverse, Positive, and Visionary — resonate with you, then you’ll find a great fit here. Support learning disabled adults to develop skills, achieve life goals, and thrive in your community.

What we offer you:

  • Location: Supported Living, Sevenoaks, TN13 3PH
  • Salary: £ per hour
  • Working hours: Shift work including early, late, and every other weekend. Sleep-ins at the service are £
  • Holidays: 33 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Pay incentives: 10% overtime allowance, 20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% for key dates over Christmas
  • Training & development: Fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Benefits: Health, retail, and cash incentives

What you'll be doing:

Support people with daily activities, from planning shopping to outdoor adventures, personal care, attending gigs, building confidence in using public transport, and money management. Your role is to help them discover new interests, achieve goals, and maintain relationships.

You will provide high-quality care, listening to their needs, assisting with medication, cooking, and confidence-building activities, working various shifts to support work-life balance.

Having a driving license and access to a car is preferred due to limited public transport access to our services.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Sevenoaks team!
