Job summary

Purple DPSS is seeking a Female Support Worker to provide on-site care for a child with autism in Ramsey Heights. The role requires supervising activities, promoting development, and assisting with personal care in a dynamic home and community setting.

The position is permanent, full-time, with a total of 72.5 hours at £13.50 per hour, and requires a DBS check, right to work, and references. Based in Ramsey Heights, Cambridgeshire PE26.

A is happy 8 year old, he is Autistic and has PICA. A is non-verbal and communicates by leading, some signing & PECS.

A enjoys being outside, going for walks or to the park where he likes to run around and hunt for insects. He also likes to visit farms/zoos and a local cathedral.

A struggles with noisy environments and male voices.

A's favourite colour is black and he is drawn to anything that colour when out or in shops.

A is very scared of dogs.

Hours and rate of pay

Hours to be used flexibly in the school holidays/some weekends

72.5 hours in total paid at £13.50 per hour.
