I am a 14-year-old girl with complex needs, including cognitive difficulties, cerebral palsy, and autism. I am looking for an enthusiastic, fun, patient, and reliable Support Worker to help me engage in activities I enjoy and become more independent. You need to be calm under pressure and consistent in your approach.
I attend a special school but require additional support outside school hours to participate in social activities. I also need some assistance with personal care.
People describe me as kind, caring, fun, and a little "sassy!" I am happy to help you understand what I like and dislike. Trying new things can make me nervous, so I may need extra support then. I currently enjoy going to the local gym and participating in other activities.
During school holidays, your hours may increase to provide extra support at home and accompany me on day trips.
This role requires an Enhanced DBS check. Full induction and training will be provided.
