Female Support Worker – Harston, Cambridgeshire

We’re growing our team in Harston and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us.

This is a float position, supporting people in our supported living home in Harston, working shifts wherever the need is greatest. You won’t have a fixed shift pattern instead; you’ll be placed where you’re most needed on the rota. That could mean working 1:1 with someone during the day, supporting across the home on a long shift, or covering nights. We’re looking for someone who’s confident, adaptable, and ready to make a difference wherever they’re needed.

In this role, you’ll be supporting four individuals aged 30-50 in a home just 15 minutes from Cambridge city centre, 50 minutes from Peterborough, and up to 45 minutes from Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds plus, free on-site parking!

Our team enables people to live independently and be fully present in their local communities. We are looking for dedicated individuals to help us continue our outstanding work and bring joy to those we support. You’ll be working within a well-established team to provide person-centred support to people with learning disabilities and/or autism, supporting them to lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with their personal interests including swimming, art therapy, massages, and Friday night club!
  • Promote independence and help individuals develop new skills.
  • Full support with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • Work in partnership with families and healthcare professionals to ensure full support.
