About us
We are looking for supportive, caring people to join our amazing team at our Garth Mountain Service. It’s secure work, with full training provided. Unlike many careers, you can progress whether you’re part-time or full-time.
Care experience is NOT necessary, and we work with individuals over 18.
Why choose us
We support people who live with us, creating meaningful experiences. We build and nurture relationships with the people we support, their families, friends, and health and social care professionals. We take pride in helping others and providing high-quality services.
What’s involved?
You’ll support people with needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health. You’ll help them flourish in a place they call home and support them to live ambitious, fulfilling lives.
Getting creative
Our approach involves activities and co-production with the people we support. This might include cooking, gardening, creating art, listening to music, or outings to the cinema, food venues, shopping, or sports events like bowling or watching a team play.
There is also practical support, helping people reach their goals through managing medication, shopping, health needs, hygiene, and maintaining a safe, tidy environment.
Few jobs have such an impact on people’s lives. If you’re a supportive, compassionate individual, you’re ideally suited to join us.
How we support you
We go beyond expectations for our colleagues and the people we support. Our reward package includes competitive pay, 5.6 weeks of annual leave, flexible working hours, and a pension scheme.
You can work part-time, full-time, or choose more flexible options.
Training and development to reach your potential
Additional benefits include Colleague Lotto with cash prizes, extra days off for your birthday, prize scratch cards aligned with our values, recognition awards for colleagues who go above and beyond, loyalty schemes for work anniversaries, and more.
