Job summary

FitzRoy in the United Kingdom is recruiting female support workers to provide person-centred care at Sonnet Court, a home for 24 young adults with disabilities.

Full-time days and nights with hourly rates: £13.05 (weekday day), £13.44 (weekday night), £14.35 weekend day, £14.78 weekend night; overtime and bank holidays paid at enhanced rates.

You will deliver personal care, support daily living, encourage independence and participation in activities, and promote a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Job description

Sonnet Court is home for 24 young adults with learning disabilities, physical and sensory impairments, enduring mental health conditions, and Autism/Asperger's syndrome.

Due to the requirements of the people we support we are only able to recruit female support staff at present.

Vacancy Details

• Full time Days and Nights available
• Day shift: £13.05 per hour weekdays, £14.35 weekends
• Night shift: £13.44 per hour weekdays, £14.78 weekends
• Enhanced rates of pay for overtime (Over 37.5 hours per week)
• Time and a half or double time for bank holidays

As a Support Worker, your role will be varied and rewarding. You will provide person-centred care and support tailored to each individual’s needs and wishes, working alongside them to identify and achieve personal goals. This enables the people we support to have choice, control, and independence in their everyday lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

Day shifts are 7.5 hours, between 7am and 10pm on a rota basis, weekend work is essential, when you work the weekend, you will have days off during the week.

Night shifts are between 7pm to 7am or 9pm - 7am, weekend work is essential, when you work the weekend, you will have days off during the week.
