Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a warm, reliable, and proactive part-time Female Support Worker for a complex needs supported living service in Stockport. You will provide person-centred care to enable people with learning and physical disabilities to enjoy active and fulfilled lives.

You will support service users with personal care, daily living tasks, and community activities, using personalised communication approaches to build trusting relationships with those you support and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, learning disabilities, or physical disabilities.
• Full clean driving license is essential for this role.
• Gender is considered to be an occupational requirement – Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful personal care and support with daily living tasks at home.

Part‑Time

We are seeking warm, reliable and a proactive part time Female Support Worker for our complex needs supported living service in Stockport. We provide person‑centred care to enable people with learning and physical disabilities to enjoy active and fulfilled lives.

You will support service users by providing respectful personal care and support with daily living tasks at home and varied activities in the community. Some of the people we support have health or behaviour support needs and will need your skilled support to maintain their health and wellbeing.

You will be expected to use personalised communication approaches and to develop trusting relationships with the people we support and their families.

In most of our services you will undertake sleep‑ins. You must be willing to cover various shift patterns (early and late shifts) depending on the needs of the people we support, across a 7‑day rota. In most of our services you will also undertake sleep‑ins for which we pay an additional sleep‑in allowance.

Previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs, learning disabilities, or physical disabilities, or other relevant experience, is required.

Possession of a full clean driving license is essential for this role.
