Job summary

Mencap is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Crymych, Pembroke. You will help individuals with learning disabilities with daily activities and emotional support, contributing to their quality of life.

You will be part of a dedicated team, with shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. A driving role for a manual car is noted, and DBS checks and references are required.

We support a young lady who loves getting out and about and is able to do this whenever they choose, as they have their own car.

What we're looking for:

  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

This role requires you to be a driver of a manual Car.

Contract options

  • Part-time: 24 Hours

Shift times:

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

  • Days: Between 09:00-21:00
  • Sleep in's 21:00-09:00

Sleep-in, where you will receive an enhanced flat-rate payment of £ 64.20

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
