We are seeking motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic Support Workers to join a specialist rehabilitation support team, supporting a young woman living with the long-term effects of an acquired brain injury. Our client lives in her own home and leads a full and active lifestyle. She enjoys spending time in the community, socialising with friends and family, shopping, eating out, attending appointments, and taking part in a range of leisure activities. She is able to direct her own care and enjoys being actively involved in decisions about her daily life, support, and future goals.
As part of her ongoing rehabilitation, she is supported by a multidisciplinary team of therapists and professionals. Support workers play an important role in helping her engage with therapeutic programmes and implement rehabilitation strategies within everyday activities, helping her maximise her independence, confidence, and quality of life. She also has a much-loved dog who is an important part of her daily life, so applicants must be comfortable around dogs and enjoy working in a dog-friendly environment.
