We are looking for a Female Support Worker to join our Supported Living Services based in Chippenham on a Full-time or Part-time basis.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their lives.

We support a variety of people with different interests, including music, craft, cooking, gardening, allotment work, local walks, board games, pool, and darts. The most important thing to the people we support is having someone kind and caring to spend time with and have a chat.

What we're looking for:

  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract options:

  • Full-time: 37.5 hrs
  • Part-time: flexible hours based on availability

Shift times:

  • Days: Between 07:00-22:00
  • Sleep-ins: 22:00-07:00

Additional Information:

All our services are 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life. There is also an option for sleep-in shifts, where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70. All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references. Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female-only applicants. This position is exempt under the Equality Act, Schedule 9, Part 1.

Important: This position is not suitable for anyone seeking sponsorship, as the salary does not meet the UKVI’s minimum salary threshold for sponsorship. If you are resident in the UK and do not require sponsorship, we would love to hear from you!

Benefits:

  • 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) and additional benefits like pension and holiday buying options.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • A supportive and inclusive work environment.
