Female Support Worker

The Role:

Providing practical and emotional care to enable individuals to lead as independent a life as possible. Flexibility required for shifts including bank holidays, weekends, and sleep-ins.

Main Duties:

  • Implementing support plans and activities
  • Communicating effectively with service users, families, and others
  • Supporting with meals, laundry, cleaning, and social activities
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality care

Coverage of three Supported Living services supporting young adults with learning difficulties, mental health issues, behavioral challenges, autism, and disabilities. The focus is on enabling individuals to lead fulfilling lives.

Personal Characteristics:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviors, learning disabilities, or mental health issues
  • Calmness under pressure
  • Confidence working independently and in teams
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults
  • Commitment to safeguarding standards
