I am recruiting several CARING and PASSIONATE Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. The service, which is located in Henllan, Denbighshire, supports adults aged between 18 - 65.
The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
**Unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for these positions**
- Salary: £27,736 - £28,899 (including sleeps). Plenty of overtime available!
- Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week, 1 sleep per week.
- Contract: Permanent.
- Shifts: A variety of shifts including optional sleeps including weekends.
- Location: Henllan, Denbighshire.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following:
- Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
- Ensuring the safety of the service users.
- Following care plans for each individual.
- Taking service users out into the community.
- Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
- Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements of the Support Worker Role:
- No experience is required.
- Must be resilient.
- Drivers ESSENTIAL due to location.
- Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
- Due to the personal care nature of the service user, gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
