A leading company in disability support is seeking a Female Support Worker for a young lady with cerebral palsy in the Penistone area. This full-time, permanent role involves assisting with personal care, rehabilitation activities, and enabling independence. The right candidate will be supportive, communicative, and training will be provided. Flexibility is necessary for around-the-clock care.
We are recruiting for a Female Support Worker to join our lovely team on a full-time, permanent basis based in the Penistone area. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP14.88 per hour day shifts and GBP15.43 per hour waking night shifts.

The Female Support Worker Role:
We are recruiting for a Female Support Worker to support a young lady with cerebral palsy and other complex needs living in her own home. The client is a wheelchair user and communicates via low tech and gestures, she is able to express her wishes and preferences to those who know her well.
The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social and recreational activities, and empowering her to be as independent as possible.
The client requires full moving and handling and all aspects of personal care.
Flexible support required 2-1 care 24/7. The package will include 24/7 care during holidays and weekends.
What we are looking for in our Female Support Worker:
We are seeking staff with excellent communication skills and a desire to provide individualised support. Previous care experience with young adults is preferred but not essential as full training will be given along with input from therapists.
Staff must be able to participate in a range of activities with the client, including hydrotherapy.
Driver with full UK License essential.
