Responsibilities

• Soutenir les activités sociales, visites à la gym, événements sociaux et gestion des médicaments.
• Travailler avec une équipe pour promouvoir l'indépendance des individus.
• Assurer le respect des plans de soutien pour les trois dames.

Our Skipton service is a lively supported living service with lots going on. We support 3 lovely ladies who like to go swimming, to musicals, and do arts and crafts. All the ladies have active lifestyles, so we are looking for active individuals to support them.

Real Life Options is a registered charity currently experiencing growth, and we are seeking permanent contracted Support Workers who want to make a positive impact on the lives of the people we support.

The role

We support individuals with learning disabilities across all services, helping promote independence and community participation. You must be able to follow detailed support plans to ensure a consistent approach and that individuals' needs are met.

You will work with an experienced team to support 3 ladies to live as independently as possible. This includes supporting social activities, gym visits, discos, social events, medical appointments, household chores, shopping, and medication management.

Shifts

This is part-time, 16 hours per week, mainly covering 10 am - 3 pm. Occasionally, you may need to cover evenings, sleepovers (with allowance), nights, and weekends. Relief staff cover various shifts.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. An enhanced DBS check for working with adults is required.
