We are looking for an enthusiastic Female Support Worker to join the fantastic team based in the Liverpool area. It is an essential requirement for this role that you hold a MANUAL drivers licence.

Working time will be on a rota basis with shifts spread across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and sleep-ins.

What does a Support Worker do?

As a Support Worker, you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that helps ensure the people we support live a more comfortable, dignified, liberated, and happy life. You will have excellent communication skills and be a naturally caring and patient person. Typical responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting people to live independently – budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments, and cooking delicious healthy meals.
  • Building relationships and supporting individuals to understand the world around them, promoting positive relationships.
  • Community & Social Inclusion - supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
  • Personal care - helping people get ready for the day, including prompting medication, assisting with bathing, showering, and bathroom use. Not all roles include high levels of personal care.
