We have an exciting opportunity for a Female Support Worker / Driver to be part of our fantastic Supported Living service in Preston - Lea!
This role requires a manual driving license, a vehicle will be made available to you for transporting the individual to activities.
Applicants must be very positive, possess a can-do attitude and actively engage with daily structured activities. You must have a genuine passion for providing effective support to individuals with Learning Disabilities / Trauma induced behaviours.
You will need to get to know the individuals we support and contribute to the development of their person-centred plan, always seeking to meet the needs and wants of the individual. You will need to complete daily documentation as required along with maintaining a friendly and professional approach. You will need to have experience and a good understanding of managing challenging and complex behaviours. Ideally you will have experience of working with adults who have a lower cognitive age.
Previous experience of Support Worker is required.
