A leading care management service is looking for a care assistant to provide essential support to a client with a severe brain injury. The role involves daily assistance, therapy support, and promoting independence while working within a small dedicated care team. The position is part-time with flexible hours, offering competitive pay and ongoing training opportunities.

Pay:£13.12 per hour, Monday to Friday and £15.37 per hour, Weekends and Bank Holidays, £NLW (Currently £12.21 for those age 21 and over), Sleeping Nights
Driver required?Desirable but not essential.
Driving Clients Car?Yes, possibly our clients Wheelchair Adapted Vehicle (WAV)
Using Own Vehicle for work purposes?Yes, occasionally may be required.
Essential:Carework experience.
Desirable: Experience supporting adults withphysical difficulties.An interest in therapy and supporting the client in trying new things.
Family Pets: 1small dog.
Interviews Week Commencing:As and when applications are received. These may be completed via teams video.

Our client suffered a severe brain injury. She cannot walk and uses a wheelchair. She has regular therapy sessions which you would need to help her with. She loves going out for lunch at the local pub and likes to try out new activities.
You will be joiningher small care team where you will be taking direction from our client's parent and Case Manager to ensure that she receives all the care she requires. Our clientrequires full assistance with her daily routines and all of her personal care needs. She requires assistance for hoisting, support with monitoring her health needs and providing stimulating company whilst assisting with all daily activities to include therapy and leisure activities.
Thisrole will suit someone who enjoys getting out and about and can bring lots of enthusiasm to support our client in trying new things. 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
