Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for night shifts to care for a non-verbal 17-year-old client at home in Manchester. You will provide intensive personal care, PEG feeding support, oxygen assistance and safe transfers as part of a small team.

The role requires confidence with complex equipment, physical fitness for long shifts, and flexibility around nights. This Temp-Perm position offers a learning program and referral incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care for children with cerebral palsy.
• Able to assist with PEG feeding, oxygen support and transfers.
• Comfortable with full personal care and continence support.
• Physically fit for long night shifts and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 night-time support to client at home.
• Assist with personal care, feeding and continence needs.
• Operate and monitor complex equipment as required.
• Observe wellbeing and promptly report any concerns.

Job Type: 3 waking nights per week from 8pm-8am (preferably to have flexibility over the nights worked)

Contract: Temp - Perm

Must: Drive (UK license)

• Our client is 17 years old living with cerebral palsy and other complex conditions and is non verbal for her communication
• Our client is PEG fed, oxygen dependant and hoisted for transfers and requires full personal care and continence support
• Our client enjoys sensory and quiet activities in the home

Successful Applicant:

• This role requires someone confident in complex care with children and use of complex equipment
• Must be physically fit for manual handling tasks and long shifts
