About The Role:

• Location: Worsley, Manchester
• Days & Hours: Permanent hours, 17.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday 4.00pm-7.30pm. Bank hours are also available to cover for absences, during the week and some weekends, as well as trips away.
• Pay: £13.12 per hour, Monday to Friday and £15.37 per hour, Weekends and Bank Holidays, £NLW (Currently £12.21 for those age 21 and over), Sleeping Nights
• Driver required? Desirable but not essential.
• Driving Clients Car? Yes, possibly our clients Wheelchair Adapted Vehicle (WAV)
• Using Own Vehicle for work purposes? Yes, occasionally may be required.
• Essential: Care work experience.
• Desirable: Experience supporting adults with physical difficulties. An interest in therapy and supporting the client in trying new things.
• Family Pets: 1 small dog.
• Interviews Week Commencing: As applications are received; may be via Teams video.
• Start Date: ASAP (subject to checks)
• Sponsorship: Our clients do not offer sponsorship.

Our client has a bubbly personality, loves looking her best, and has a great sense of humor. She has a severe brain injury, cannot walk, and uses a wheelchair. She enjoys outings, therapy, and trying new activities. You will join her small care team, supporting her with daily routines, personal care, therapy, and leisure activities.

Requirements include proof of eligibility to work in the UK, references, and an enhanced DBS. The role is gender-specific due to personal care needs, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
