Job description

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Female support worker in our Domiciliary service within the Lampeter & Tregaron area.

What we’ll give you:

  • £12.21 per hour (double on bank holidays)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting adults with Dementia, Epilepsy, diabetes, and Learning disabilities.
  • Providing 1-1 and at times 2-1 support.
  • Promoting positive well-being.
  • Participating and being enthusiastic about their likes and wants.
  • Maintaining and developing community links, as well as accessing community and leisure pursuits to support independent living and life skills.
  • Involvement in personal care.
  • Females only due to service requirements.

Who you are:

  • Able to work independently, multitask, organise, and prioritise work to suit the people we support.
  • Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
  • Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Quick learner, hands-on, and willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
  • Shifts will be mainly weekends only with the possibility of shifts throughout the week.
  • Hold a valid manual UK driving license.
