Female Support Worker Required – Oakwood area

Would you like to support a 20-year-old lady to lead her best life?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a support worker to join a team of carers assisting a young woman with cerebral palsy in Oakwood, Enfield. The client is fun, caring, and enjoys a variety of activities including studying for her BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts, shopping, dining out, attending local events, cooking, planning trips, and household chores. She maintains close contact with her family and visits her parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, and cousins regularly.

The support involves helping with daily living activities, manual handling, administering feeds, and medication via a Mickey button. The team works 24 hours a day, with two staff members per shift. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided. A full driving license, energetic personality, and a caring, professional approach are required.

Working Hours and Pay:

• 24 hours per week, typically one 24-hour shift including an 8-hour sleep-in
• Weekday rate: £16.99/hour
• Weekend rate: £19.18/hour
• Sleep-in rate: £12.21/hour

This position is contingent upon references, an enhanced DBS check, and proof of right to work in the UK.
