Job summary

Newark Recruitment is recruiting Support Workers to provide person-centred care to adults with a range of support needs. You will help individuals develop independence, maintain wellbeing and take part in daily activities.

Full training will be provided, and you will work with a dedicated care team to deliver safe, respectful support. Flexible shifts and a friendly environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in support work, healthcare or social care is desirable.
• Experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs or complex needs is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient and compassionate approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts according to service requirements.
• Reliable, responsible and professional attitude.
• Willingness to learn and complete all required training.

Training and Development

Full training and relevant role-specific training will be provided to successful candidates. Candidates must be willing to complete all mandatory training and follow the required safeguarding, health and safety, and support procedures.
