Role Overview

We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Female Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives. You'll be part of a supportive environment where your contribution truly makes a difference.

Job Title: Female Support Worker

Reporting to: Team Leader

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:50am-4:20pm

Locations: Christchurch, Dorset

Important Note: Due to the current demands on the service and to meet the specific care needs of the individuals supported, we require a female Support Worker for this role. This requirement is in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent day-to-day care and support
  • Encourage individuals to engage in new activities that promote confidence and independence
  • Assist with all aspects of personal care
  • Drive company vehicles and act as an escort when required
  • Administer medication (once appropriately trained) in line with policy
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and support provided
  • Follow all organisational policies and procedures
  • Ensure training is kept up to date
  • Participate in regular support and supervision sessions
