Support Worker Role - Edmondsley, Durham Area

Salary and Location

£11.44 per hour - Must live local to Durham Area DH7

We are seeking Support Workers to join our dedicated team, assisting individuals in leading independent and fulfilling lives.

Role Responsibilities
  • Supporting adults and children with learning disabilities and autism in their homes, including cooking and cleaning.
  • Engaging in community activities such as cinema trips, music events, shopping, and social outings.
  • Encouraging active participation in community life.
About the Role

We provide creative, dynamic, and person-centred support to individuals in shared supported living and individual tenancies. As a growing registered charity, we are looking for permanent Support Workers eager to make a positive impact.

Additional Requirements
  • Having your own transport is advantageous due to the rural location.
  • Previous experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • An enhanced DBS check is required.
Contract Details

Permanent contracted hours: Minimum 23 hours per week, with shifts of 11.5 hours each.

Compensation and Benefits

£10.42 per hour

  • Minimum of 28 days paid holiday annually, including bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time).
