Westcountry Case Management is recruiting a female Support Worker for a client with a physical disability and severe learning disability in the Cwmbran area. The role covers personal care and daily living support, with 44 hours over two weeks, evening shifts and alternate Saturdays. A full UK driving licence and own car are essential.
You should be registered with Social Care Wales or working toward registration. A QCF/NVQ2 or equivalent is desirable.

We are looking to recruit a patient, warm, caring and reliable Female Support Worker, ideally with a full driving licence for our delightful client with a physical and severe learning disability in the Cwmbran area.
In this role you will work with a 25-year-old lady with a physical and severe learning disability. She lives with her parents in a property which has been adapted to meet her needs. The client is physically independent but needs support with all areas of daily living, including self-care activities, household activities, vocational activities, leisure activities and socialising. She attends a day service four days per week. She enjoys socialising and listening to music. The client has a friendly and cooperative personality but can become agitated on occasions when she is trying to communicate with others. She uses facial expression, and some vocalisation to communicate. Her mother is closely involved with her care. Female applicants only due to the nature of personal care required. Previous experience, full driving UK licence and own car are essential.
We are a CIW Registered healthcare business who help our clients recruit their own support workers. You will be employed directly by the client; however, Westcountry Case Management oversee all aspects of the clients care package on his behalf.
