Female Support Worker

I am a 61 year old female with various health conditions including severe Asthma, COPD and a spinal fracture which means I experience high levels of pain. All of my conditions affect my mobility, and I use a walking aid in the home.

I like to go outside for short periods when my conditions allow to keep my muscles active. I need support with all my daily living tasks.

Work Schedule: 18 hours per week over 3 days, Mon, Tues & Wed, times to be discussed.
Pay: £14.90 per hour.
Requirements: Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting me to get washed/showered and dressed.
2. General household chores, tidying, hoovering and laundry including changing my bed.
3. Supporting me to prepare meals.
4. Support with my nebulizer when needed.

Candidate Profile:

1. Experience of supporting others.
2. Kind and friendly demeanor, calm by nature.
3. Willingness to develop trust and understanding in the role, working with me to achieve my daily tasks.
4. Genuine interest in the provision of high quality care.
