We are looking to recruit a patient, warm, caring and reliable *Female Support Worker to work witha delightful lady with cerebral palsy and a learning disability in her own home in the Crantock, Cornwall area. Role will involve personal & domestic care, moving and handling including hoisting, carrying out therapy programmes, accessing therapeutic activities and social & leisure outings.
Applicants are advised that there are dogs in the house.
Previous experience and full driving licence are essential.
*Please note we are recruiting Female Support Workers due to a genuine occupational requirement of the person we support therefore this role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9
What you will be working:
12 hours per week initially in four hour shifts to cover variable times within the day on a flexible basis to cover a 24/7 rota.
