Job summary

HomeCare Direct Limited is looking for a compassionate Driver Essential in Brighton to provide daily support and companionship for a client with complex care needs. The role includes accompanying the client on outings and to appointments, and helping with PEG care and personal care.

Candidate requirements include a full UK driving licence, gastrostomy care experience, reliability, flexibility, and a calm, upbeat approach to challenging behaviours. Training and wellbeing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (21+ for insurance purposes).
• Previous experience with gastrostomy care is essential.
• Comfortable accompanying the client on outings and to appointments.
• Reliable, flexible, and friendly with an upbeat attitude.
• Experience with challenging behaviours is essential.
• Like animals and comfortable around dogs.

Pay Rate: Days: £14.40 per hour. Nights: £12.21 per hour.

Hours: 26 hours per week

Shift Patterns: Days: 8am to 10pm | Nights: 10pm to 8am | Flexibilitybetween hours required
