A leading care provider in Glastonbury seeks a Support Worker to assist individuals with daily living tasks and personal care. This role offers 28.5 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate starting from £12.50, enhanced for overtime. Candidates should be caring, positive, and willing to drive. The home is surrounded by the Somerset countryside with links to the major towns of Bristol, Bath and Taunton. Glastonbury is a lovely vibrant town with lots of attractions, making this an ideal work base for those who like adventure – as do the people we support.
This is a permanent role, working 28.5 hours per week. Shifts are varied across 7 days, include regular sleep ins and can be discussed further at interview. We are offering an hourly rate from £12.50 with enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews/ rises. A fantastic work environment to develop yourself in the care sector, and even for a first time support worker!
Please note, this role may include regular sleep-in shifts which are paid as an additional allowance. (This means sleeping over at the residence, with the possibility you might have to wake up to provide care in the night.)

A full UK Driver\'s License is essential for this role, and you must be willing to drive the service vehicle.
This role in Glastonbury might include supporting people with: Everyday tasks, personal care and hygiene, finances, medication and wellbeing; going into the community for shopping or other trips; supporting their social life and nightlife. The role may involve sleep-in shifts paid as an allowance.
