A supportive care organization is seeking female Support Workers in Birmingham. The role involves assisting individuals with learning and physical disabilities in their homes and the community. Flexibility is essential, and while prior experience is not required, a full UK manual driving licence is necessary. This position offers a variety of hours and the opportunity for training and development in care.
FitzRoy is recruiting Support Workers to join our Coleshill Road service in Birmingham. We provide support to residents with learning and physical disabilities in their own homes and in the community.
You will be providing valuable support to our learning disability and mental health services Birmingham teams to cover wherever needed.
Due to the requirements of the people we support, we are only able to recruit female support workers.
A full UK manual driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role, as you will be accessing the community for activities.
A support worker’s day is varied and requires flexibility. The people we support live independent lives, and the support we provide is tailored to their needs. Duties may include enabling them to participate in a range of interests and activities that promote a healthy, balanced, and fulfilling lifestyle, as well as support and encouragement with personal care.
