Job description

Fitzroy is recruiting a full-time support worker to join our established team in Bicester, where we support 4 ladies between the ages of 30 and 50. The ladies may have experienced trauma and may self-harm, so we are looking for caring, calm, energetic individuals with a positive outlook.

The ladies enjoy keeping busy and going out, from trips to the farm to fitness activities at the local gym. You will participate in a variety of activities with them.

Due to the specific needs of the people we support, we are currently only able to recruit female support workers.

  • Day shift: £13.20 per hour on weekdays and £14.52 on weekends.
  • Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
  • Additional £2.50 per hour for overtime shifts.
  • Public holidays paid at time and a half or double time.
  • Sleep-ins are paid at £50 per night.

Support Worker Hours

You will work a set pattern of morning and afternoon shifts, each lasting 7.5 hours. A full-time contract comprises 37.5 hours across 5 shifts per week. Shifts start as early as 7am and finish as late as 10pm.

Weekend work is essential and will be on a rotating basis. When you work a weekend, you will have time off during the week.
